This website contains the genealogical research of the Hodgins and associated families complied by Margaret Hodgins. The website serves as a public repository of the years of research she has conducted into her family tree, which dates as far back as 1500.
It is work-in-progress, as is any geneology project. It is circumscribed by the availability of records, the survivability of those records and the accuracy of the recorders. But also, for those who are recorded, their literacy, and co-existing with their commitment to truthful account, their need at times, due to circumstances we can only imagine, to conceal truth.
